Moving home
Family workshop
with Marta, Publio, Tristán and Romeo
CA2M
2018
A family proposes a workshop for families of all kinds. About moves, decisions and changes. On migrations and mutations. From the block of flats to the townhouse, we have hours to go and we would like to do countless things together. Sometimes we are tired and sometimes like a motorcycle. What do we want to live together? How to treat us? What are the limits of our desires? I want to do it alone. I want to be taken care of. By collaborating, I gain autonomy and security. We will throw ourselves on the ground, we will draw, we will take photos and video, we will try not to be as usual, we may dress up or sing something.
Workgroup and collective exhibition project
Faculty of Fine Arts. UCM
2012
Together with a group of students of the Fine Arts Faculty at Complutense University we questioned what we had learned so far that an artist does in the world. The initial approach was unrealistic, uncertain, imperfect, uncontrolled … using the exhibition space as a workplace that showed the development of collaborative research-creative-process-reflective, without authorship, a laboratory open to visits, of shared experiences and which gave visibility of criticisms, doubts and foremost actions.
Family is hell
Audiovisual workshop for youth
Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea. Santiago de Compostela
2008
We all have something to say about family, materials and experiences to which come back to, a need of understanding it, processing our feelings about them and representing our ideas. Starting from a decisively amateur attitude and a predominantly practical approach, a series of improvisation actions and performing works were chained, putting together common reflection over the proposed activities and the appraisal of the results.
A domestic set was built (living room, kitchen, bedrooms) with unused materials that were recovered from the museum’s storehouse. It served as working space and set for the development different activities, later it was also used to instal the resulting works and opened as the exhibition room so that the museum’s audience could have access to the participants works.

2005-2007
Conceived by the Youth Institute depending on the Ministry of Equality as an art educational project together with the the Youth Institute Art Show, we designed and directed three seasonal residencies. Young artists invited to participate worked on personal art projects, together with tutorship, collective dynamics, lectures and workshops with various speakers. The main aim was to redefine culture, art and artistic activity from a formal methodological awareness, and to promote the creation of intra and intergenerational networking.
