(Madrid, 1971/ Mérida,1973) They live and work in Madrid since 1996, after having met at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. They understand the cultural production as poetic and formal instrument of representation that guide to personal and collective critical attitudes. They are secondary school teachers, developing a work on reflection and artistic practice on audiovisual literacy and critical pedagogies. They are involved in teacher’s training, artist’s education and self-representation projects with youth. They have exhibited at Formato Cómodo, Madrid; Casa sin fin, Cáceres / Madrid; Puertas de Castilla, Murcia; TinBox Gallery y TnBA, Bordeaux; Museo Patio Herreriano. Valladolid; Intermediae Matadero, Madrid; La Caixa Foundation, Lleida; Espais Foundation, Girona; MediaLabMadrid and MEIAC, Badajoz. They have taken part in collective exhibitions in C.C.M. Haroldo Conti, Buenos Aires; CAAC, Sevilla; LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Gijón; ZKM Museum für Neue Kunst, Karlsruhe; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop; Instituto Cervantes, Beijing; Le Commissariat, Paris; Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea, San Sebastián y Galerie Art & Essai. Rennes. Their audiovisual productions have been screened at the Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid; Fundació Tàpies, Barcelona; Zinebi, Bilbao; Barcelona Women Film Festival; and several venues of Cervantes Institute. Members of the Circo Interior Bruto (1999-2003). They designed and directed the Estancias Injuve artists residency project (2005-2007) and are members of Las lindes, research and action group on education, art and cultural practices in the CA2M, Móstoles.
